This is a huge experiment for me, as my name is Musical Science DOGgies, not Musical Science BLOGgies. 😉 I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but that's part of the fun, right?

I'm a retired science teacher who has played cello for over 40 years and who volunteers at my local SPCA, working primarily with dogs.
One thing I'll mention is that all SPCAs and Humane Societies in the U.S. are independent -- there is no umbrella organization, so please consider donating to your local SPCA/HS. There are also lots of loving animals in shelters and with rescues that are looking for their furever homes. Please adopt your next pet. 🐶🐱🐰🐢

When I first put my toes into the blogosphere I had less than no idea what I was doing. And several years later I am an addict.
